The latest addition to the Rodney Wayne locations can be found on the cobbled streets of Fort Street in a beautiful heritage building, nestled between a handful of humming restaurants and bars.
Rodney Wayne Fort Street emphasises the old school, revisting the grass roots of its first salon on Victoria Street, channelling the lavish décor from 1980.
I visited the beautiful salon that has exposed brick and polished wooden floors for a blow wave with the lovely Amy. Using the latest products from Kérastase, I received a dual treatment before my blow dry which left my hair feeling luscious for weeks.
In the middle of the salon, is a colour bay reminiscent of the 60s. Instead of sitting alone at your hair dressers station staring at a mirror, one can now enjoy a cup of coffee over a magazine or newspaper whilst waiting for your colour to process which adds the ultimate touch to an old school environment.
