Get Gigi’s Look | Festival Beauty How-To

No one does boho-babe beauty better than Gigi Hadid and her fellow supermodel friends that were snapped at Coachella last weekend. Here are some steps to achieve her fresh, glowing and fuss free look.

Priming the skin is so important, to ensure your makeup stays put all day. I love Mac’s Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Illuminating Base (1). It has little sparkly particles in it which create the effortless glow for you!

Next choose a foundation with medium coverage, nothing too heavy as you want your natural skin to shine through. Try L’Oreal’s True Match Super Blendable Foundation (2). The thin formula is easy to use and won’t look caked on.

Highlighting under the eyes and down the nose are key to the fresh-faced look. Maybelline’s Dream LumiTouch Highlighting Concealer pen (3) is perfect for this as it supplies coverage for dark under eye circles as well. Make sure to set under the eyes with a loose powder (10).

Gigi has beautiful eyebrows that frame the face and are key to the look. Anastasia Beverley Hills Dipbrow Pomade (6) can be used with an eyebrow brush to fake effortless brows. Tip: be very light-handed with this product, and if you put too much on, use a spooly brush to comb some of the product out!

Keeping the lid bare (or to appear bare) apply a cream based eyeshadow, like Mac’s Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Painterly (4). Apply this all over the lid, then in the crease choose a warm light brown (5) to lightly blend through to add some dimension. Blend this out and around under the lower lash line too.

For this look, leave out the eyeliner. This will also make your eyes appear bigger and your lashes longer!

Apply a couple of coats of your favourite mascara (12). Choose a peachy based blush (7) to give the natural flushed look. Focus on the apples of the cheeks, then blend outwards.

To finish, use a matte bronzer like the NYX matte bronzer (8) to bronze under the cheek bones, around the jaw line and hairline to create dimension. Choose a subtle natural powder highlighter like Mac’s Soft and Gentle (9) and brush above the cheekbones, down the nose and on the cupids bow.

Nude lips are back; Mac’s lipstick in Kinda Sexy (11) will finish off this look perfectly. Be light-handed on the powder, choose a mineral one with a light coverage to dust away the shine when needed (10).
